It's hard to rejoice in God in the bad times because we want to blame him, and it's hard to rejoice in Him in the good times because we tend to think everything's going well so we don't need Him! We just have to remember to ALWAYS put God first in our lives.
When life's got you down don't blame God, but ask Him for whatever you need help with, strength, wisdom, hope, or patience. We need to rejoice in the fact that we are saved and have a God who died for us at all! More of us need to remember that.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 was a reminder to me that no matter what situation God places my life in, He will provide the strength, or "enable me to go on the heights. For the Director of Music (God himself)". God promises US that He will give those who trust in Him the ability to overcome whatever He places in his/her life! And, it will be for Him (the Director of Music).!!!!!
If we trust that God has a plan for our lives and that He is in control of our lives, it's easier to praise Him in the bad times!
